The US-based Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) has reported that 3,186 people have been killed in Iran since the war began on February 28, 2026.

Of the confirmed dead, at least 1,394 are civilians including a minimum of 210 children. An additional 1,153 military personnel have been killed, while 639 fatalities remain unidentified.

The conflict has significant implications for Nepal, which has over two million citizens working in West Asia, including in countries neighbouring the conflict zone.

Figures from conflict zones can be revised as verification improves; readers should treat tallies as provisional and follow established humanitarian and diplomatic sources.
